Dr Haiyue Yuan

He is now a Research Associate, working at Institute of Cyber Security for Society (iCSS), University of Kent. He received his BEng degree in Mobile Communication System in 2007 and MSc degree in Finance in 2009, both from University of Sheffield. He received his PhD degree in Electronic Engineering in 2013 from University of Surrey. Since then, he has been working on a number of multidisciplinary projects across different domains with different departments at University of Surrey. His main research interest include Human Computer Interaction (HCI), and its intersection with Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence (AI).


Presenting 'CogTool+: Modeling Human Performance at Large Scale ' at CHI2022

Dr Haiyue Yuan is attending CHI2022 virtually and presented the journal paper 'CogTool+: Modeling Human Performance at Large Scale' on 03 May 2022. This work was published at ACM TOCHI in 2021 collaborated with Professor Shujun Li from iCSS, University of Kent and Dr Patrice Rusconi from University of Messina, Italy.

The Climate Doomsday Book is exhibiting in Australia

An 190-page Climate Doomsday Book is on display in the John Curtin Gallery, Curtin University from 28 March–8 May 2022. This interactive book was created collaboratively between the Digital World Research Centre (DWRC), the Advanced Technology institute (ATI) and the Centre for Vision Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) at the University of Surrey and the School of Design and the Built Environment at Curtin University.
